Township Officially Joins Firefighter's Book Brigade

Since its launch last year, the Fairfield Firefighter Book Brigade Fund has been a tremendous success, bringing area firefighters into our community’s 1st grade classrooms to promote reading and fire safety. We’re thrilled to announce that this year, Fairfield Township Fire Department has joined the effort, helping expand the program to every 1st grade classroom in the Fairfield School District.

This initiative provides a unique opportunity for local public safety heroes to engage with students directly, combining the excitement of meeting firefighters with an educational focus on fire safety. Thanks to the Brigade, students gain valuable knowledge while developing a love for reading, and our community’s bond with its public safety team grows stronger.
